Kensington Adventure Playground

The Venny - 85 Kensington Road Kensington

Known affectionately as the Venny - the Kensington Adventure Playground is a communal backyard where local primary school aged children can have fun, friendship and support. They are open every day after school and all days on weekends and school holidays. Activities include; arts and crafts, sports, woodwork, cubby building, trampoline, castle games, animals, and a veggie garden.

Kensington Community recreation Centre

The community centre aims to provide a range of services and programs which meet the cultural, social, educational recreational and community support needs of Kensington. The Centre boasts a new indoor 25m heated pool and learned pool. There are swimming lessons all year for all ages as well as adult and junior squads. Pilates classes, music lessons, jazz ballet, junior sports program are some of the many programs offered there.

Flem/Ken News is a community newspaper which is produced quarterly by a collective of local people. Collective members' volunteer their time to fulfill keyboard, layout, writing, advertising and administrative requirements as well as soliciting articles for contributors.

Provides recreational, educational and social programs to the local community of Kensington. Service programs include educational and leisure activities, ESL classes, computer classes, child care course, walking, lunches and day outings, a special Indo Chinese and Vietnamese group, occasional child care, folk art etc
