Under the terms of the Strategies Management Agreement between the Director of Housing and Becton, KMC will be engaged in four core business activities, plus an overarching governance and management role:
- Governance and Management: ensuring accountability to DoH and Becton and customers as well as the broader Kensington community and ensuring KMC operates effectively and efficiently.
- Community Building: resourcing community development to build social capital and enhance resident wellbeing.
- Facilities Management: managing the external building fabric, grounds, common areas and services for all buildings (public and private).
- Tenancy management: day to day management of DHS Regional Housing staff located on site who are responsible for administering public housing tenancies within the redevelopment precinct.
- Body Corporate Management: administering the responsibilities of all bodies corporate within the precinct.

6km north/west of Melbourne's CBD and can be located at Melway
